What's New?
The latest Subaru Solterra has received several upgrades from the previous model. It has a squared-off steering wheel that does not obstruct the view of the digital gauge display. In addition, the new steering wheel has updated paddle shifters mounted at the back, making it easy for the driver to change the regenerative braking system. Furthermore, the safety suite has received new features like Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, and DriverFocus Distraction Assist Technologies.
Interior and Exterior Features
The Solterra has a beautiful interior made of premium soft-touch materials. It has a high-mounted digital driver information display, a center console with a shift knob, and an 11-inch Uconnect infotainment touchscreen. With the 8.3-inch ground clearance and Grip Control, you can confidently attack unpaved roads during your road trips. The Subaru Solterra averages 227 miles of driving range for the Premium model, while the Touring and Limited trims offer 222 miles. Subaru says the 6.6-kW charger can recharge the battery in less than nine hours. Meanwhile, the 100-kW direct current fast charger can charge 80 percent in approximately 35 minutes.
Technology
The Solterra has a 12.3-inch touchscreen at the center of the dashboard. The infotainment system offers smartphone compatibility through Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® integration. Higher trim levels, from the six quality speakers to eleven Harman Kardon speakers, provide pristine, crisp audio quality.
